SHORTCOMINGS

      1.   Lack of own ground

The coaching in this Academy is imparted in a space belonged to the Jhargram Municipality. The Academy is very much grateful to the Authority of the Jhargram Municipality, particularly its Chairman, Sri Pradip Kumar Sarkar, for being kind to make the present coaching venue available at the interest of the trainees of the Academy. However, the Academy is badly in need of a practice ground of its own in order to suitably develop and equip the same to cater to the ever-increasing trainee strength of the Academy.

2.      Perpetual financial crunch

Apart from occasional support of the patrons and a very nominal monthly tuition fees collected from the trainees, the Academy does not receive any grant-in-aids from any source whatsoever. All expenses relating to carrying on the Academy including those connected with providing expert coaching, required playing gadgets, participating in away friendly matches and tournaments, etc. are borne by the Academy. The onus of this burden is gradually becoming unbearable with the increasing number of trainees.

3.      Inability to cover the entire Sub Division of Jhargram

Jhargram Subdivision is geographically very large and divided into 8 (eight) Blocks. Those are Binpur-I (Belpahari), Binpur-II (Lalgarh), Jambani, Jhargram, Sankrail, Gopiballavpur-II (Beliaberha), Gopiballavpur-II (Gopiballavpur) and Nayagram. The distance of the furthest point of the subdivision from Jhargram Township exceeds 100 km. Resultantly, the Jhargram Cricket Academy with its limited resources is unable to cover the entire subdivision under its aegis.
